The Blackout: X Protocol reaches its first full release. Patch 1.0 brings major expansions to prison and arrests, gangs, heists, ropes, hideouts, crafting, factions, BlackOS, world events and progression, alongside The Halloween event, our biggest seasonal event yet. This is the start of Season 1: First Light and a much deeper version of the city.
Major expansion to Stacks and the heist system, with full planning boards, dedicated crews, setups, progression and new Quiet and Loud approaches for Vangelico and Gruppe Sechs. Hideouts, Grid Caches and X Vaults also receive major upgrades, alongside new phone games, world interactions, inventory and HUD redesigns, deeper progression systems and a wide round of gameplay fixes.
This patch pushes gang gameplay much further. Daily Contracts, crew dealing, larger crews, new gang jobs and improved gang progression now give factions more to do day to day, while making gang life feel like a bigger part of the city. Beyond that, the update also expands the world with new civilian jobs, new contracts, improved phone systems, mission reward cards, Battle Pass changes, Proxy OS upgrades and a wide round of gameplay fixes.
Expands everyday life across the city with new factions, jobs, robberies, vehicle systems and street interactions. Players can leave persistent graffiti across Los Santos, break into apartments, intercept the reworked Grid Convoy, work new Dax and Marlow operations, deliver for Pizza This, customize and replace vehicle tyres by hand, use fake plates on stolen cars, and access new City Service equipment and air support.
A major expansion to hacking, robberies, missions and city progression: player hackers can now breach X Grid systems, bank and jewelry heists are live, XPay Breaches can be launched manually, Post OP introduces a full courier job, new factions and property perks expand progression, and major improvements landed across vehicles, combat, world events, street dealing and quality of life.
24/7 stores are now fully interactive and robbable, Vex's Hit Contract has been rebuilt around the new FINDER app, vehicle storage now uses slot limits, food and consumables have been rebalanced and several faction, mission, HUD and performance systems received major improvements.
Marlow City Dispatch, a new Vex contract, a fully reworked Armory, 16 new apartments, boat parking and dealers, improved X Vaults, faction changes and major fixes across missions, drones, masks and performance.
XPay Banks, property selling and management, synchronized weather, reworked street selling, new vehicle services, improved voice communication, expanded emotes, HUD improvements and much more.
New content, reworked missions, improvements and fixes are now deployed across the X-Grid.
